About Ed

Meet former Senator Edward R. Durr, Jr. Husband of Lynn, father of three (Heather, Melissa, Edward III) and grand-father of six (Christopher Jr, Leila, Paige, Alexander, Sophia, Caleb). Senator Durr was born July 18, 1963 and was raised in Gloucester City. He has lived in New Jersey all of his life. A commercial truck driver for the last 27 years, he has most recently hauled for the Raymour & Flanigan furniture chain. He is a Christian, blue-collar, hard-working, trusting, loyal, and patriotic American and New Jerseyan. Amongst other things, he believes in fiscal responsibility, governmental transparency and lower taxes. A NJ State CCP holder, Senator Durr is also a very staunch supporter of our 2nd Amendment right to keep and bear arms. He is not a polished politician who is looking for a career in the chamber; on the contrary, he would like to see the government returned to the hands of the people.
